final major project
I have since stopped chewing my fingernails!
Both my final major project and dissertation covered the topic of art and it's accessibility to those who have distanced themselves from it previously - either voluntarily or inadvertently.
Physically, this project took shape of a series of redundant questions that the audience would have to answer. The result of the questionnaire would be a kit you were assigned to use; this was done to remove the excuse of "I don't have any of the right tools".
The audience would then create pieces of work using their assigned kit. There were a series of nine kits - containing: drawing pens, clay, timers, beads with string, lego, famous art images for "improving", sharpies, stamps and a disposable camera.
They would then photograph their work and upload it to the website (kit2.live) where it would be exhibited in the form of an online gallery.
Below shows some of the submissions made.
